Company History

Emek Kum was founded in 1965 by Kemal DEMIRKAN in the town of Catalca, Yenikoy Istanbul. After naming the company Emek Kum, he continued producing the silica sant that was available in this area until 1982. Emek Kum continues its business since 1982 as a family owned company.

Company Production

Our company meets the demands and needs of various industries ( casting, water clarification, paint, construction chemicals ) with is manufacturing of silica sand casting, water Our annual productions is 70.000 - 80.000 tons with %90 of it being distrubuted throughout Turkey and %10 exported outside the country.
